【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9314definesaconformancetestofthePHYfunctionsinapaththroughanFDDInode.Figure1isafunctionalblockdiagramofanFDDIpath.Thepathcontainsthenecessaryfunctionstorepeat(thatisdecodeandretransmit)framesthroughanFDDInode.ThePHYRepeatFilterisoptionalwhenthereisaMACintherepeatpath.IfthereisnoMACintherepeatpath,thenthefunctionisimplementedinPHY.ThisteststandardmakesnoassumptionaboutthepresenceorabsenceofMAConthepathandisintendedtooperatewithorwithoutaMAC.Itteststherepeatfilterfunctionwhereveritislocated.However,theresultsofsometestsmaybeslightlydifferentifaMACispresent.
